Terms of Service

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Cohabitation, a platform that helps people across Morocco discover rentals, roommates, rooms, listings, and housing conversations.

Last updated: May 31, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, signing in, browsing listings, messaging another member, or otherwise using Cohabitation, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use Cohabitation on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be legally allowed to use online housing and communication services in your location. If you are under the age required by applicable law to enter into these Terms, you may not use Cohabitation without appropriate consent.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Your profile, listings, and information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and non-misleading information, including your profile details, room preferences, budget, move-in date, listings, and messages.

You must not impersonate another person, create fake listings, misrepresent availability, hide material housing conditions, or post content that you do not have permission to share.

4. Matching, listings, and communications

Cohabitation may suggest profiles or listings based on information such as location preferences, lifestyle answers, budgets, and app activity. Matching is only a discovery tool and does not guarantee compatibility, safety, tenancy, availability, or agreement.

Messages, listings, and profile content are created by users. We may review, moderate, remove, or restrict content when necessary for safety, legal compliance, service quality, or enforcement of these Terms.

5. Safety and offline interactions

Cohabitation is not a party to roommate agreements, leases, subleases, rent payments, deposits, property visits, or offline meetings between users.

Use care when meeting people, visiting properties, sharing personal information, transferring money, or entering into housing arrangements. Meet in safe places, verify details independently, and never send money if something feels suspicious.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not use Cohabitation to harass, threaten, discriminate, scam, spam, scrape data, distribute malware, bypass security, abuse rate limits, collect personal data without consent, or violate someone else’s rights.

You may not post illegal, deceptive, explicit, hateful, violent, or privacy-invasive content, or use the platform for housing discrimination prohibited by applicable law.

7. Administration, moderation, and enforcement

We may warn, limit, suspend, ban, verify, unverify, remove content, delete listings, or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users, the service, or legal compliance.

We may keep audit logs and administrative records to investigate abuse, support users, operate the service, and comply with legal obligations.

8. Fees, payments, and future paid features

Cohabitation may currently be offered without paid consumer features. If paid features are introduced, the price, billing terms, refund rules, and cancellation options will be shown before you purchase.

Any housing payments, deposits, rent, or other financial arrangements between users are outside Cohabitation unless we explicitly provide a payment feature with separate terms.

9. Intellectual property

Cohabitation, its interface, branding, software, and service design are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, sell, or misuse them except as allowed by law.

You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, process, transmit, moderate, and use that content to operate and improve Cohabitation.

10. Third-party services

Cohabitation may rely on third-party providers for authentication, email delivery, hosting, storage, security, analytics, and related infrastructure. Their services may have separate terms and privacy practices.

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that are not controlled by Cohabitation.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Cohabitation is provided as an online discovery and communication service. We do not guarantee that listings are available, users are compatible, properties meet your expectations, or offline arrangements will be successful.

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Cohabitation is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the product, laws, or safety needs change. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the app or other available contact methods.

For questions about these Terms, contact us through the support or feedback tools available in Cohabitation.
